Pan's Acres Nursery, LLC, CT's first solely native plant nursery, was founded and organized in 1997 by Denise Ciastko. Her knowledge, vision, and dedication to NAP has nurtured this company into becoming a vital proponent for the preservation of New-England's natural heritage.

Today, Pan's Acres Nursery, LLC fills the needs of this expanding native plant market, by offering to landscaping professionals and homeowners alike, a wide selection of plant materials befitting many varied habitats.

This nursery has become the buzz word in ecological awareness in CT by providing lectures to organizations such as "The Invasive Species Working Group", "The Ecological Landscaping Network", "Northeast Organic Farmer's Association", " Ecological Landscape Association" MA, and many garden clubs across CT, RI and NY.

Also, Pan's Acres Nursery, LLC has provided native landscape exhibits at the Durham Fair, Discovery and Horticultural Tent, Native Wildflower Garden at Sessions Woods (Department of Environmental Protection Wildlife Management Area), Planting with Nature Lecture Series for Middlesex Soil Commission at the CT Agricultural Research Station in Haddam and at the Hartford Flower Show.
